Guest Speakers: Mark Sweeney, McCallum Sweeney Consulting (MSC) and Kim Williams, Greenville Area Development Corporation

Mr. Sweeney will speak on the site selection process and key factors including the role of public transit. The presenters will provide examples of MSC site location projects for which public transit was an important consideration. The discussion will also include thoughts on how the rapid growth in the Upstate is likely to impact future site location considerations, and what inquiries GADC has received regarding public transit.

Mark Sweeney is a Senior Principal with McCallum Sweeney Consulting (MSC), providing site selection services and economic development consulting to companies and organizations worldwide.  With more than 25 years of experience in site selection and economic development, Mr. Sweeney assists companies in identifying, evaluating, and selecting the optimal location for their capital investments. 
Kim Williams is the Existing Industry Manager at Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC), a non-profit organization established by Greenville County Council to promote and enhance the economic growth and development of Greenville County.  Ms. Williams serves as a liaison to existing companies in Greenville County by addressing challenges, providing awareness of resources that are available, and supporting expansion opportunities.  Prior to joining GADC in 2017,  Ms. Williams spent 13 years with the site selection firm McCallum Sweeney Consulting (MSC), where she held the role of Principal.
